What's the best fuel pump and regulator combo? Running empi 34epc carbs.

I run a 2 1/2 psi Huco rotary suction pump. Bought from Eurocarb. Very good quality and no need for a regulator. Use in combination with a fuel cut off solenoid and an inertia switch in case of an accident...

I have one of these: https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/AC127200/fuel-pump-facet-electric/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
My regulator leaked, so I've bypassed it for now. Doesn't seem to be a problem.

I've got mine wired via piggybacking the oil pressure switch or the alternator (I forget which, but can check if you're interested).
I haven't got an inertia switch but essentially with my set up if the engine stops turning, the pump stops pumping.

P.S. my pump is fitted above the gearbox, close to the fuel tank exit.

Cool. Thanks everyone. Might stay with mechanical pump, thought pressure had to be regulated for twin carbs to about 3psi?

Mecahnical pump will work dependant on revs and is designed to give the right amount of fuel, I know people running 2007cc etc on stock pumps with no issues, you need to run a reg on elecy pumps that aren't self regulating, but:

That you can fit on it's own.
