Guys,

Your opinions if you please... I am considering buying one of these: http://www.cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=1875" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Are they good, bad, ugly or indifferent with respect to seting up a full flow oil system on my 1776cc...?

Alright mate, don't know about them but dont like the idea of take off and return to the pump.
It says in the sales guff about expense of doing it properly, I brought the tap and drill bit for £40 which was probably too much, then all you need is the confidence to do it, I'd never done it before and managed it.
The only other system I looked at doing before biting the bullet was the one that returns it to one of the relief points which I also didn't like the idea of.
Up to you but may as well do it properly saves doing it twice. :roll:

Well it depends if your case is split or not. It it isnt then this is the way to go. I wish i had tapped mine for full flow when i built my 1914cc but i didnt and ended up running a external oil cooler with a fan so i used this exact same part. Works great! I have 500-600 miles on it so far. I would recommend it.

Did mine the old fashioned way but they look good. I cant see any reason not to use them.

Likewise, it's a tried and tested method. and if your case is split.... ;)
