gauges for dash

need to find the ones i like best to mock up my dash guys ,where is the best place to buy them from ,i have a few kit car mags and they seem alote cheaper than vw suppliers ,would these be ok to use or are they different for air cooled, ime looking for volts ,oil temp ,oil pressure.

They will be fine, just get the correct senders. Places like SVC and Merlin are good bets.

try this set up - from an Audi 80 - full set of VDO gauges - in ready made bracket - works a treat in my 71/72 EB and looks fine - I have fitted below and to left of steering column, using existing bolts/taps, so no holes need drilling in dash!! - wire up to dash lighting circuit and power feed - and as said get the correct senders especially the oil pressure on to match the gauge...

dont suppose you got any pics of yours, and do the senders from (vw)supplyers just marry up so to say? verry well priced also
