Gearbox mounting?

Do early bays have the upper mounting lugs on the gearbox like the late bays or does it all rely on the front mount and the engine support bar?? :shock:

Yep. Just the front mount and the engine bar keep the early box off of the ground.

as above but your 72 will have the lugs on the gearbox too.....

its the crewcab im working on so its a '69. Bloody glad i put the blocks under the engine before i removed the support bar then!! :lol: I knew one of the models had to be supported but our splitty has no engine but the box is still there and the only buses ive had the motors out of so far have been late bays bugs and the spiltty. thought i was going mad when i took the cover of the motor to see no lugs! :shock: :lol:
