Sorry my first post being a for sale thread but been recommended by a member of the splitscreen forum that this will fit bay windows as well,
im selling a brand new RHD Gene Berg Shifter which will fit 1966-1979, Bought this with a SSVC group order, other things have got in the way so never got round to fitting it and could do with some monies!

new, never fitted, would like what I paid for it £245 will post with next day courier

I have not heard it wouldn't fit a 71 :?
As far as im aware it will fit RHD buses from 1966 to 1979, unless I missed something on the Gene Berg website
