I put the argos camp bed material bit against the dormobile bunk and it should fit ok.The length is exactly right,the width should be ok,I didn't strip my old covers off yet but they should fit.The only thing that would need to be done to the argos covers is to open up the ends where the tubes go as they are sewn up at the ends.

Up VWAIRCOOLED have you fixed these as yet, do they work?!

Jus sorting mine and respayed the orig frames thought I had a replacement cover for one ripped canvass but it's a different size so may have to go down this route....

No not as yet,it's still on my to do list,which has just gotten longer this weekend as my gearbox has gone at vwaction this weekend
Anyway once I've done it I'll post back.I might even sneak this job in first as it doesn't invlove getting too dirty.

I took one of my bunks apart today,which was simple enough,just remove it from the roof,get it out and drill out all the rivets with a sharp 5mm drill bit and remove the plastic trim pieces.Then knock the mechanisms off and slide the old canvass off.I cut open the ends of the argos bunks open by unpicking the stiching.One end is ok,the other end will need some more stiching as there is less stiching on one end than the other.I then slid them on and put the mechanisms back on without rivetting them for now and put them back in the roof.Once opened up you can notice the taper,one end is quite tight and the other end sags down.But I actually tried it out myself laying down with my feet at the saggy end and it was comfortable.It will be fine to use I think and will match reasonably ok with my interior and an absolute bargain when I bought them a couple of years ago for £9.99 each.I've still got to paint my frames before finishing off properly.I will also put a stud in aech corner of the canvass like the original Dormobile ones had to stop the thread ripping.

Got mine back togehter having debated getting argos / millets covers couldn't get anything other than blue or green stuck with the orig got it patched up and it's sound as will do for now. Once summut turns up I'll replace it but can't see the nipper falling out of it now.
