I'm trying to get my heating working, as most of it was missing when I bought the van.

I've got the concertina tubes, and the gaskets for the ends. Does it all just slot in, or do I need some clips as well ? VWH shows a clip for one sode but not the other, and the tube ends are pretty solid - I don't think a jubilee clip will do much good. Or maybe the clips are to locate the tube, not fix round it ?

Any comments appreciated. Thanks

Hello mate, i have working heaters and the tubes are held in with large clips that you squeeze to open.

The other end is just pushed on and is fine. You could use large jubilee clips if you wanted.

Most people who run with heat exchangers just have their pipes just pushed on, no clips etc.

Hope this helps.

Easy,

Thanks. I've got some large jubilee clips on order (courtesy of fleabay), so may end up using these at each end just to hold the tubes in place.

i have some stainless steal cable ties which rock!
