Ok not been on here for a very long time......been looking at the for sales and rides but not posted as I did not have a bus so had nothing to post up about!

But things have changed, and thats the miracle side of things. What would you say if I told you I got a 72 crossover bus, running just had all its electrics done, comes with a foksey adjuster to weld in and loads of new parts and I have given a grand for it. Sounds good dont it?

It needs welding but that i am not afraid of and does not look as bad as you might think. Once I have sorted the garage space out for it I will get a load of pics and post them up. But please dont hold your breathe as I need to do a lot of sorting to get the baby back here.

So there you go, I am back and saying hi and I now have a bus again!

Great to have you back!!

Nice find on the '72 too - you're in good company as the crossover contingent seems to be getting stronger and stronger! 8)

Can't wait to see those pics...

;)

A rusty crossover is a lot better than a "Bongo"
must pass by & have a looksy at the bus

Evning. Didnt know you can still get a Bus for a grand  . Fair play.
Any pix?

Rich

Got mine for under a grand. They're still out there if you want to put a lot of work into them.
Don't know whether that's a good thing or not. :?

But it was a wreck... :D

I don`t know if it is still worth buying a realy cheap bus and paying another xxx amount of pounds and hassle to get it looking good or just buy a realy solid bus for more and spend less to get it looking good or cut to the chase and pay good money for a nice one.... :?

lets hope your 1000 pounds bus prevent you getting any more skid marks... ;)

Thats the whole point of buying a car/van/bus that needs work, the enjoyment of knowing you made it look the way you want it to.

Anyone can go and get a loan and buy someone elses bus! But where is the fun in that?

Anyways I got some pics up of the bus now in the gallery, here is the link. Let me know what you think!
