Going away on sunday for to weeks in the van and i am finding it hard to geat 2nd and 1st gear, mainly when changing down the gears ie 3rd to 2nd.
I have changed the rear and front bushes in the linkage.
Hve got a Quick Shifter Plate fitted on the gearstick.
Used to be ok before i changed the front beam. Being a total numb nuts have i put it back together the wrong way around
 ive got the stop plate, Quick Shifter Plate then the gear lever housing.
Or should it be Quick Shifter Plate then stop plate. Tried to do it that way but a real pigs orphan to fit :?:

Any ideas could be as simple as clutch adjustment, dont want to play to much as dont want to realy bugger it up now.

Just check the clutch free play, I had this problem in my 77 years ago and all I needed to do was tighten up the butterfly nut on the the clutch cable at the gearbox  I had been struggling with it for a while before realising quite how bad it was.
Worth checking as it really is a 5 minute job if your bus is still stock height.
