help needed

Ok guys, day two with betty and the fun continues.

She now won't start unless bumped and won't hold a charge an cuts out when the accelarator is released. Guy who sold it tells me the G light oh the dash has been on for about. Week!

Any ideas?

checked and rechecked all connections from Battery (Both terminals) Starter Motor, and lastly Alternator/Generator to and from Regulator?

check and double check, especially the connections to and from regulator!!

Cheers hick,

tried all that and still not happening. Got a bigger problem now in the the ignition won't turn, I knew a van wasn't going to be easy to own, but 3 days in and things seem to be going from bad to worse!
