help please

my van runs and drives well but
then all of a sudden it cuts out and petrol keeps going in to the carb(constant flow)
so i got a new carb and still have the same problem when this happens it wont start any ideas :?: as i need to drive
it to work in the morning :? :?

it also makes gargling noises and spits fuel out the top :?

Could be the fuel pump diaphram damaged. Strip the pump and have a look.

how do i do that and where is the diaphram thanks

You may find it just as easy to replace the pump (around £15) if your not too sure about stripping it down.
