Hi everyone I'm not sure if I've got all the right bit's to get on and fit my clutch and engine, could anyone please let me know if I need a centreing ring or maybe the sleeve, my bus is a 68 so I'm assuming that I have an early type clutch arm? If anyone could help me out with some info of what I need that would be great
The photobucket link below shows what I've already got
Thanks. Dan

Looking at your pics it seems you may have the later release bearing rather than the early one!

Mines a 1970 and I have this one fitted to mine

Oh and here is a pic of all the stuff I used when I replaced my clutch, pressure plate, release bearing and springs after it ate itself on the way back from busfest last year

Right engines out, release bearing fell apart and has mashed the clutch operating leaver...
So several questions i need help with.

Is it a no pad clutch?!

Think I need to replace the arm/leaver.

Should it have oil in there or is something wrong? (is there a seal that could have gone)?

Tired and stressed.... Help!!

PICS:

Cheers.

Yours is the early type clutch kit WITH a pad (the pad is the round disc on the sprung fingers on the pressure plate)

This is the kit you need

You definately need to change the operating shaft

And there's two reasons for the oil either the flywheel seal and o ring need replacing, or the input shaft seal on the gearbox is leaking is it gearbox oil or engine oil ?

Paul have a sniff of the oil, gearbox oil has distinct smell a bit like ammonia.
