All I want to buy are some decent tyres.

165/55/15 and 185/65/15 but no one seems to stock or even make the 165/55/15's, unless you want to spend 70 quid a corner on Bridgestones.

Des :evil:

I always use: http://www.mytyres.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I did see those but not really heard of Nankangs tyres - I've always gone for Continentals, Goodyear, Bridgestone etc...

Are you going to run your bus that low that you need 'slam' tyres on the front end?, 165/55/15's are only really used when you want to get very low, I would have thought 175/55/15's may be a better bet. these give you a bit more width and increase the sidewall marginally.

165 55 15? random size

do you mean 165 50 15 ? like the guys say nankang are cheap but dont look as nice as bridgestones

have you tried 175 50 15 kumhos? cheap and look all good

or if you can find a set 165 45 15 federal formozas. i carried a set back as hand luggage from ireland (bought off johnny on here) just so i could have a pair.

ebay has alway got some decent part worns on there 175 55 15, 145 65 15, 155 60 15,

i love tyres me :? :? :?

I trust you Graham so I've gone for 175 up front. Noticed the slam boys go 165/50 I was going 165/55 being conservative but 175/55 will be safer, have to remember my kids will be onboard. From mytyres I ordered Continental ECOcontact 3's in 175/55/15 and 195/55/15 for £212.60 inc vat and delivery. I have ECOcontacts on my Smart they are quiet and squeeze out a few more MPG, need all I can on the bus :)

Cheers
