How do I do this????

Hello, just treated myself to a lovely new set of curtains for the summer but I have no track to cover the side door window, my old arrangement wat to have a curtain on a wire in a cupboard which I put up when necessary but I don't want to do this now so how do I fix a track to the side door I presume it fixes to the runner cover thingy, looks a bit of a sod to drill though??? any help appreciated

I bent mine to the shape of the sliding door runner then used self tapping screws to fix the silent gliss to the runner.

Was it easy enough to drill into the runner?
