I tended to bumble along at 55mph, although mine would happily maintain 65 if needed to - it was just a bit noisy :D

I always keep below 60mph, if on M ways stick to 58-59mph when possible. I find that if I get to 60 for long there are spots of oil around the engine bay. I've just done 1500 miles and only used 1 litre of oil.

I think the Bus will go all day but I tend to stop when 1 one of the following happens....
1. my ears start to bleed from the noise....sports exhaust !!....seemed like a good idea at the time...
2.I wet myself....after the modern vehicle in front cuts me up and decides to break right in front of me......43 year old vehicle brakes can leave a lot to be desired....
3.When the Bus runs out of fuel.......yes I dared to drive past a petrol station without stopping to fill up...
4.I can no longer take the pain in the arse.....Sorry that's no way to refer to the girlfriend...
5.I feel sea sick.....Bus not lowered and I do feel like im sailing..

The longest i have done in my bus was 5hrs coming back from cornwall.

Surely part of the fun is the journey :) stopping for a brew (and a poo in Easy's case lol) makes it more enjoyable

We would regularly travel all day, south of France to north of England only stopping for fuel - for us and the van lol

We've got a pretty strong 1776 so most of that is at 65-70mph too.

I try to stay off the Freeways and travel only backroads
50-55mph and just did a 6hr non stop but I'm old and my ass hurt ;) so every 2hrs or a 100miles ,,take a break
