My insurance alloews only 3000 miles which is abouit what we do on holiday and VW events

5000 mile limit provides a useful cushion. I keep a note and would give Carole Nash a call if I got too close to that.

Year before last I did 26,000 miles in my bay...I was living in it too that year!
(With only one breakdown...a spark plug came unscrewed!)

This weekend the 7th, I would have owned the van for a year and what a great year its been! Covered 3953m and im away in it this wk-end and next Wk-end then a week in the Isle of Wight plus a few more trips throughout the year. Next year will be the big one taking it over to Netherlands, Belgium, France!
