" Have you any Early Cab Doors in stock?"

Yeah we bought some in America and waited 5 weeks to get them here. £225 each delivered and complete..

" Will you take £80 per door? "

WTF is going on these days, I know times are hard but why does everyone want something for nothing?!!

I'm pleased most of us aren't here to make a living..

Are Truck Master hiring these days??

Rant over :)

I've got a couple of doors they could have had for £80 each........There's not much left of them which is why I removed them
Some people just want something for nothing, or chance their arm just in case. Either that or they thought they were at a Morrocan bazaar!

I think after being told a 40 year old door was 225 quid I would have haggled as well, maybe not down to 80 but you have to admire them for trying

there are two side to every story tho ... only you know what you paid for them and they were probably shipped in a bus so effectively cheap shipping .... it is a lot for a 40 year old door  but still better than the new rubbish for sale ....last two mint Austrailian bay doors i bought were 90quid each but that was 4 years ago

haha welcome to my world mark.I`ll give you £75 per door that you paid £75 for in th usa. What do you mean you bought 30 as well as other panels totalling an initial outlay of £5000 then paid another £3000 in shipping taxes and duties....i`m not intrested in what you paid for them
thats just the start of my rant

thats just the way it is,and allways will be.i do the same and get the same done to me in my line of work.

u never know, allways worth a try,any one that isent trying to buy as cheap as posible and sell for as much as they dare is crackers.

are you saying you dident negotiate the price before you agreed to buy em?

all tho ye £80 takes the piss

I think its part of the negotiation process to have an offer refused! Got to start somewhere!
Dont get upset about it just say no thanks! :D

I did Dvey lol. It's just my point is a lot want a lot, for not a lot at the moment.. We all saw a solid rust free bus sit and perhaps not sell for £3500. Unreal.

"Have you a 68 rear view mirror I've been looking for 6 weeks... "

Yeah it's £60, they're hard to get....I'll wait for something cheaper.

I love every part of this 'industry' but just wish we could appreciate what goes in to bring these items to the public domain some times..

But yes, I do have an Ashtray if anyone wants one for £20 :)

is this an ad?

also it's not all about your potential "customers", some traders also ask something for nothing, for example you could be asking a ridiculous amount of money for a crappy old headlining, i've cut out better than the one that i'd seen
