Our campervan 'Wilfred' is just about to have an interior makeover. woo woo woo!
We have rid him of his bright blue carpeted door cards and asortment of blue painted interior and are now about to put an original devon interior back in instead! Before we embark on the adventure, does anyone have any major tips?
aggggh! Its scary!

Try and get someone who has the same interior as you to help out,and bring their camper along for reference if you can.

take your time and try not to be too forceful and an extra pair of hands always helpful .oh and planty of cups of tea

Work from the back forward, in most interiors the seat/bed arrangement is the biggest and most awkward, so get that in first and then build around it.
Take the chance while the van is empty to clean, wax, protect, soundproof and route any wires you might need.

if you need any help with measurements, i have my devon interior stripped. There are several support 2X2's that are fixed to the floor etc to support the bench seats in etc. i can take some pics and measure if you get stuck with anything.
