Hi - hopefully a quick and easy one.

Whats the official name of the clips on steel wheels that hold the hub cap on? Where can I get new ones and how do you fit them? Cheers

Not sure of the proper name but Custom and Commerical sell em bud

I think you will have to drill out the old rivits and rivit the new ones on?

from Heritage items 5 & 6, can't help with fitting I got a '72

Cheers chaps.

Anyone know about riveting? I was reading you could pop rivet but would the rivet stick out too much on the brake drum side? I've never riveted before......riveting!

have a look here .....

as others have said, drill the old ones out and rivet the new ones in!

easy as pie, the rivets dont stick out the drum side - well they do, but no where near enough to foul anything.

if you get them right, they will not move and the hubcaps you place forth on them will not come off in a hurry!

Thanks for your help...I'll give it a go and let you know!
