Started the weekend with high hopes, get the beam off, mend a little hole in it and fit the adjusters.....no worries :)

Oh well, I did make a pretty cool thing so I can get the bus out of the shop sans front wheels ready for work tomorrow :D

Weighed up my options, I could repair it but it wouldn't last forever, so I've decided to get a good used one and paint and waxoil it to death.
Megabug have a rust free one for a LHD for 250quid.
Took the opportunity to do a repair in the wheelarch while the access is good, so still good progress this weekend 8)

They rot out from inside(so they say),my old van had a welded beam on it.Used to grease it regular.1st thing i did when i got my new(old) van.

might be a good time for a spot of narrowing

get a set of end plates and have those old bit replaced
