Was welding overhead yesterday and had an 'incident' with some wayward spatter. :shock:

Need some new boots methinks! Needless to say my new dance amused the hell out of my colleagues. :roll:
 
Let me guess, trainers or sandals :lol: ive had ones like that in my ear welding rusty stuff, certainly clears the wax out. :oops: :) :)

But sandels dont give much protection to your ears!!! :lol: :msn4: :lol:
 
Ya big wuss! Eons ago, when the rules changed and repairs had to be welded rather than braised, as a 'lad' had the job of mig welding over the plates on a Transit chassis that had been braized on. Usual small workshop, laying on your back under the vehicle, 'Pete, you're on fire,.... Pete you're on fire,.... Pete, for f*cks sake, you're on fire you dozy sod! Winter, thick clothing, big lump of molten 'braize' dropping on to me, straight through my overalls, ow ow ow still have the scar on my belly. Lucky it wasn't a little bit lower...... :roll:
