winter must be on its way

thinking of being greedy, T25 westy for the family, and an EB for me to play with ;)

only one problem, i would have to sell my westy to do it

**no, i told you so,s **

hmmm - I wouldn't sell my westy - but if I could have another project it would be a panel van 8)

Failing that I look at the beetles that get posted occasionally and wouldn't mind owning one at some point in the future,

If I was being sensible though then a chopper/bobber or some other tinkering motorbike!

what sort of project were you thinking of?

Ha Ha Ha !!!! Same old story I have heard so many times and used myself on occasion! Once the current project is 'done' and used a few times, boredom sets in really quickly and the urge to 'sort out' something else becomes overwhelming! More space here, better handling, more 'user friendly' comes out time and again!. Thing is, how much better would a T25 be for your family, what about the rusty seams, what about he aesthetics, what about the expensive to rebuild type 4 motor? Why the change? If it is just that your bus is 'done', and a fine example it is, why not trade down for another EB needing the same TLC? No judgement here, just food for thought, stir up the debate, stand back to see what happens!! ;)

" the keeper" was always a bit tongue in cheek

i def want another EB, a modern T25 as well sound appealing, but having said that my toy town prius company cars being swapped for a spanking new mondeo estate tommorrow.

Maybe an early panel or another microbus project wise

go to the darkside :)

i have ;)

The T25 Westys are nice and well kitted out... But a Karmann Gypsy, they're better!!

Yeah i had a good look round it at stopover.

Really nice bus!

and pete b- i see your bus is in one of the magazines from stopover- good work!

:D

I know where your coming from.

I get my kicks out of working on vehicles, sourcing parts etc..........and when it's all done after a few outings the boredom sets in for me. It drives my wife mad spending loads of time working on them to sell them on months afterwards.

I'm one of those people who always needs something to do. For the last 2 -3 months I have been spending my time renovating the hall and landing on the house which I have been enjoying much to the pleasure of my wife as she has been at me to it for years.

I think it just the boy in me wanting to use the tools.

As for getting another project I'd love one but can't justify the cash as possibily may be changing my career direction and need the dosh from my last one to help do that.

It's also become a lot more expensive to take on a project with parts shooting up in price etc............

Must be something in the water: Faux, Ant and now you are always looking for a 'new project'. I know what you boys need, another child (or 1st in Ant's case). That'll keep you busy.
Jon, Tracy can pay me later!

Just had my third - and that was justification for getting a camper van :) - going to tie a knot in it as otherwise I'll be looking for an 8 seater microbus next :D

I love my Early Bay

And as much as I adore and desire that splitty, as Jon says, 'I love my Early bay' We have been to so many places and met so many lovely people in that old thing that it is now part of the family and I cannot imagine doing similar in another bus!
Just wish the f***er was up and running. Postman Pat been working to rule so the replacement part for the carb not arrived before I go away for ten days. Would have liked to run the engine up before leaving but there you go. Had a sit behind the wheel making bbrrrmm bbrrmmm noises, that will have to do for a while!!!
I miss my son when I'm away, :( but miss my bus too!!! :(
Still. soon be back and time for 'The Breeze' :D

I see you have come to your senses and decided to keep the van.

Right choice, however I'll be watching to see if you change your mind as if you are anything like me you will

I love that porsche spilt screen panel!!! i remember reading the volksworld feature when i was in school. All the other kids took the piss because it did'nt have a paint can on the exhaust and some ****** rims
