Basically iv found a early singlecab i want but shes in europe, i can meet the chap in calais, is it just a case of taking a trailor over to calais picking it up and returning?? Cheers guys aaron

as long as you have the paperwork for it i belive so, certainly no tax to pay, one of the guys on late bay bought and drove one back from sweden with no issues, a quick 5 minute call to dvla would confirm

having the title is best then once it has mot and insurance its a v55/5 form and 55 quid at dvla.

took my paperwork in on monday this week and tax disc and reg arrived ydy

As long as you have a title/rego document and ideally a receipt then it'll be easy. No import duty, then get it insured, mot'd and a date of birth certificate if the title doesnt make it clear and you'll be good to go.
