Indicator cancelling ring

I didn't even know that some early bays had an indicator cancelling device. Can this be fitted to a 68? Is it just a circular ring with a base to secure it to the steering wheel and a lip that bumps into the indicator stalk as it rotates?

I would of thought yours should have one, steering wheel are the same on early bay. Have a look under your wheel should have the hole there.
