Thinking about spending some cash on my bus this year but not sure where to start.

Can't decide between paintwork or an interior re-trim?????? What would you guys go for :D

What can you do yrself? Pay for the one you can't ? I reckon we need pics to se what needs most attention to decide:)

Couldn't really do either to the standard I'd want. Could do the prep work for the paint but I'd want the final paint done by a pro. Was thinking about a full re-trim in vinyl for the cab & the rear but keeping the original cupboards etc. if I do the interior.

Here's a couple of pics (the paintwork looks a lot better in the pics than it actually is)

That clears it up then, interior for me. Sorry, but those rear cushions are totally urrgh  :)

it depends on whats lurking beneath the paint now, any signs of rot then I'd say live with the interior, if alls ok just a bit tired then get the interior sorted and save for a good quality paint job...

I know what you mean, I've put up with them for a year but they are awful.

It has a very small blister on one sill, other than that it's solid. It's just that the current paint isn't great & I want it to look it's best.

sorry but small blister visible means more lurking I'd get the sander onto that area and take the paint back for a look, make your decission after that. Kill the rust now in a year its a inner and outer sill, two years its top hats etc......

Already done that, it has an area of around 1.5 inch square that needs replacing.
