got a valuation certificate from CLEM last year will that suffice or seeing as market has slowed/dropped will i need another doing????
was with 2gether last time but they took 3 months  :x to agree value even after sending in CLEM's valuation, thought i had been fleeced    and worried everytime i took van out incase it was pinched or pranged and would not have any cover

I use RH Specialist, fully comp & breakdown for around £110, used them for a few years and the price hasn't really gone up apart from a couple of pounds, never had to claim though :D .

Im with just kampers, been good the last 2 years - worth trying :msn4:

me too , for both my vdubs. Cant knock them.

still waiting for my renewal shedule from 2gether but had a call back from cherished and subject to pictures have quoted £160 fully comp agreed value 3000 miles pa legal and euro cover sd&p with commuting over the phone, will check policy paperwork when it comes for the "commuting" part, cannot see what the difference is whether your commuting or on holidays blah blah cos your still using your milage allowance up what ever you do :?

renewal through from HIC - 222, 71 plus 30 admin
cherished £220 all in with EB discount

had neve heard of RH until this thread £109.88 all in. couldn't believe it.

Carole Nash for me. £118 including full AA cover- UK and Europe, legal, commuting, guaranteed value, 5000miles.
BARGAIN!

I just got mine with RH £95.30  thats better than my renewal quote from adrian flux at £253!!!!!!! Glad i read this thread now it saved me a bundle :D

My renewal with Towergate seemed expensive @ 193.00 all in including uk and European breakdown cover and recovery. It does cover me for social domestic and pleasure plus commuting, the latter one most other policies don't seem to cover. Windscreen 60.00 excess and all other repairs subject to £10.00 excess!! Seems like a bargain to me now. :)

Got my renewal today,it's actuall gone down! Peter Worth, £104, unlimited mileage (not that I need it), European breakdown, van is boggo though. Suspect it might go up since its just been lowered and it's getting a fruitier engine

I was a bit limited last year - first year with LHD, so some so called specialists wouldn't touch me, even though I'm the wrong side of 40

We pay 180 with cherished but that's with full euro cover and all the mods declared so we don't grumble

Out of interest did you get a letter from cherished last week redefining their European cover?, it appears that their cover no longer covers repatriation to the UK, recovery only applies to the country you break down in, based on this I'll be looking elsewhere when ours comes up for renewal.

Not sure why this has changed or whether we werent covered in the first place even though it was sold as Euro Recovery??

Also with RH - especially handy for the repatriation UK and Mainland Europe cover! 8)

I also had this letter as it does appear we were never covered for European repatriation.
I will be looking elsewhere when my cover needs renewal in May.
