Hi,

Does anyone have pics of interior lighting running off a leisure battery that doesn't look too modern or involve too much cutting?

Cheers :)

I fitted LED bulbs to the original westy light running off the leisure battery from fusebox

Cheers - so what's involved? I'd have guessed that I'd need to run a new supply from the leisure battery but can it be done without pulling the interior apart?

I put an LED strip hidden in the roof for additional light:

This is powered off the cab light - I also changed the bulbs in the OG westy unit and cab for LED's - it's run of the main battery at the moment but have used them for long periods on the battery with no problem, the plan though to save running any wires up to the roof is to take a feed from my 2nd leisure battery fuse box which is already up behind the dash (powering radio and 12v sockets) and into the main fuse box, this way all the interior lights will be on the leisure battery - there was a post about which one to pull and replace but haven't got round to doing this yet!

That looks really well. Mine is a tintop so there's a limit to what I can hide but you've given me plenty to go on - thanks ;)
