Interior sliding door handles

What makes the above handle different to the standard? Are they better/easier to use?

If you have a westy interior with the sink unit with the fridge in by the sliding door then this handle makes it easier to open the sliding door, instead of pushing the handle from the bottom where it can be quite tight you pull from the top
I have one its makes it a bit easier
