Hi,
I have owned my bus for the past 36 years, bought new in Nigeria, converted to a camper by myself in Nigeria 1976/77, air freighted to UK, then shipped to Dubai, where she lived for 12 years.
She was shipped back to the UK in 1989, used on the road here until 1994 when she was inhibited, put up on blocks in my garage.
She has done 120,000 miles on the original engine/gearbox /clutch and is 99% RUST FREE with the majority of the paintwork being original!!
Its now time for a complete restoration..........................how to start??? :?

Welcome to the forum mate - that's quite a story! I know that a lot of people get then shipped over from the states but yours must have twice as many sea miles on it than your average import, eh!

EDIT: air freighted?!

By uploading pictures of your beast for us all to drool at  8)

Fair play, that's some intro. No wonder you didn't bother with the standard thread.

*exits stage left, embarassed*

Original paint colour is white all over, choice was this or grey as the vehicle (Combi Bus) was destined for the Nigerian Taxi trade.
I will post pics when I get it off blocks, and out of the garage.

Tony
