Sadly no, Doug. It would be nice, but my wallet couldn't cope.

I was gonna say. Yeh three would be nice, but I shall make do with one 'real' one and my collection of toy ones!

I actually got to have a look at the van today, not sure it was worth the wait though .
The guy selling it has had it a long time and he's just done what was needed to get it through
the Mot's over the years, includind pop rivetted plates on cab floor and rear wheel arches.
It needs 2 front doors, sliding door, front arches, front panel, both rear lwr corners, rear valance, LH & Rh sills, rear jacking point, front bumper mounting chassis rails, Lh front floor.
Also it used to have a sunroof that was leaking so a piece of plastic was pop rivetted over the top . The engine had a load of endfloat and the rear main oil seal was gushing oil out at a very rapid rate.

I think I'm going to give this one a miss as while it is all fixable, I'm not sure that I actually want to take on that much of a project just yet. The guy did ask how much it was worth to me and I told him £1000 which he didn't dismiss.

The search continues :)

Sounds like a wise decision you made.

Always try to spend as much as you can afford to get a good van. That ones sounds like another £4k at least to spend and 2 years off the road.
