What size is it. put a pound coin beside it to give some comparision. but it looks like a window knob or a a piece of the interior like a drawer handle?

the centre ring is the size of a 50 pence piece,some of havent got the privalage of having that sort of money hanging around,lol,it looks like a draw knob but dident think they would be vw
