as above fitted my new 1776 this weekend
took it for a run and feels hesitant at low throttle and a bit flat like its running on 3 cylinders
carbs balanced and timing set

jet sizes fitted
idle 55
main 160
air correction 180
emulsion f6

running an c25 cam and 40 x35 heads and vs exhaust

anybody else running a similar set up or has any idea what I need
if so what jets are you running ??

thanks in advance

Are you running a fuel pressure regulator or electric fuel pump?
The standard mechanical pump puts out too much pressure for twin carbs

stu
yeh standard fuel pump via pressure regulator set at 3.5
spoke to eurocarb today and ordered some 57 and 60 idles to try
im convinced its running too lean
south of france in two weeks no pressure

im running an 1800 motor, got the carbs from euro carb the jets that were in were
emulsion tubes F78
main 145
air 160
idle 55
pump jet 40
it ran crap hesitation on acceleration ran lean, after extensive research changed jets to
emulsion tubes F6
main 150
air 170
idle 60
pump 40
runs mint now running a electric rotary fuel pump 3.5 psi with no pressure reg, fitted a electric fuel cut off valve
