We are getting near to finishing off the body before painting (It's in etching primer). All the stock metal body work rotten panels have been replaced - so nice solid shell.

Are there any other jobs that would require body mods doing that would be better done before painting? i.e. Holes for Mains Hook Up etc. I know it will depend
on what mods we intend to make but at the moment it's a blank canvas. Want to fit a tow bar, mains hook up, led stirp lighting, possible fire suppression in engine bay.

Any tips on anything worth while doing before painting would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

vent hole in the side if you're using a fridge?
Big frame on the front to tie people to like in Mad Max?
a steel hook so you can swing a hammock between your camper and a nearby tree?
ROCKET LAUNCHERS!
Roof mounted PA system
search light
winch
beetle gloveboxes on your door skins

I could go on...

That chap lives near me, I have never mentioned that thread to him!

ROCKET LAUNCHER is a must. But living in Telford I prefer my trusty roof mounted gatling gun
