Currently in France and my mates brake lights gave up so after a quick message to Trikky we hooked up with the local VW garage. Very nice brother and a great set up.

Went out today to the Carrefour and came across this in the carpark

So, the day after my mans brake switches got renewed the brake master cylinder started pissing out fluid and upon closer inspection it was cracked! Not so good. So we drove back to our French friend at Highway Import to find he had gone on holiday for two weeks. A quick google later and we ended up at the local VW dealership. My French is passable at best, but we managed to get a replacement master cylinder couriered down and fitted within 36 hours, and they could not have been more helpful. This is him picking up his bus, I thought he was gonna cry with joy!!

Glad its sorted now - very strange - never heard of a cracked master cylinder before :shock:

It was as though the new switch was slightly too big and then over tightened.
