Knackered front VW badge wanted..

Anyone got a large VW badge for the front panel?

I only want a knackered one as I'm going to uni it will probably be nicked anyway... and my van doesn't suit the new triple chrome ones... far too much quality :lol:

The bump is (was) for the smaller (late bay) VW badge

Earlies have a larger badge and a flat front panel

72 has the early front too....unless its had the same treatment many people dont remove the bump when the replace the front clip.....

that is what happened with mine then, but they covered over the grill, i wanted to get rid of the bump and the badge anyway

Just gotta be carefull that the panel doesnt warp when its done as it can make a real mess of it......otherwise its a simple job for a competant welder...

Shaggy just been looking at a thread with pics of your bus I cant see the bump on the front it also looks like youve got the large VW badge has it been hidden behind the badge or am I just going mad....

I do have a bump my badge just fits over it, so not sure if its big or small, I just got the van like it is, so I might have to check that one out

Its not gonna be a difficult job to do the hardest bit will be blending the paint youll have a big panel with little to hide the paint line....good luck with it...

Tofufi - I've got a knackered metal one if you want it...

It's partially stripped, has two small holes in the middle (easy to fill) and all four pins are present - PM me if you want it, I'm going out for the afternoon (birthday picnic!) but I'll get back to you later...
