Hi any one had any experience with kompressor house supercharger company ? Any thoughts on there products ? Anyone got one fitted ?
Just wondering about fitting and longevity of such an installation on a 1600 twin port engine?

Just slapping a blower or turbo onto a stock motor will just result in an inevitable and premature failure. Engines built properly and specifically for forced induction is a different beast to a naturally aspirated one.

Bearing clearances, piston ring gaps, compression ratio, cylinder head chamber design, camshaft selection, ignition timing/control and even spark plugs all need to be re thought. These companies sell them as a ‘bolt on kit’ but that’s far from the case, it’s not uncommon on the Facebook pages to see people whining that they’ve melted pistons or torched barrels shortly after fitting these kits
