Hi,

I have just bought a European spec (3 screw headlamps) '72 crew cab but it is LHD I know I can get RHD lenses for it but the reflectors are a bit rusty. I was wondering how difficult it would be to fit later single screw Hella H4 lamps?

What do you need to change?

is it the mounting tabs?

Can you get them?

I changed my us spec '68 no problem but don't know what to do with this bus

Cheers

Late units are cheap and easy to buy (you will need late surrounds too!).
You need the right mounting tabs in your headlight bowl though (although if you dont have them you can make some and fit them pretty easily).
Easiest thing to do is pop one of your headlights out and see if the tabs are there.
Vans vary, and yours may have had a front panel repair at some stage in the past. :D

If you haven't got the tabs in your bowls read this.
