If you start with something easier a small project that will give you confidence to tackle others. Try doing the cig lighter install for your dash. You just need a test lamp, a cigarette lighter and some wire. you will also probably need some electical terminals and a crimping tool to attach the wires to the terminals.

pic of my aux fuse box. You could just use a terminal on your existing fuse box as Clem suggested.

Hey Mike cheers for that. I'm going to see what I can do tomorrow. I bought a ciggy lighter a while ago and I got the tools etc. Il have a look tomorrow. Yours is looking very good though .
