Hi guys I'm looking to fit a Lesuire battery system to my 71.
It's going to run internal lighting, fridge and propex heater.

Just a couple of questions.
What size battery should I get?
Has anyone got a wiring diagram?

I have seen wiring kits for sale but they seem expensive.
Kind regards Dan

You can find nice easy wiring diagrams on google, just make sure you use nice big wires so the power travels well 8)

I fitted a low-profile 110Ah "Xplorer" type one from eBay. It's been great so far powering lights and soundsystem, cost around £75. Got a split charge kit and solar panel wired up too. Never even used half its charge so far but hooking up fridge and laptop charger soon.

edit: there are split charge kits on eBay for £40 that look alright

Make sure you buy a decent split charge unit, we only fit the 12V 140amp Durite 0-727-33 voltage sensitive/intelligent Split Charge Relay, works really well and very easy to connect. (about £40 on its own or £65 as a kit)

As above a 110amp is what you need in terms of battery
