whats the best way to drop my bay without spending a fortune, id dont want it dragging along the floor, just a couple of inches would be enough.

any help would be greatly recieved

I was wondering the same thing - couldn't find the "sticky" mentioned above - but found this strand - which has pretty much put me off the idea....

((Later found the "Sticky" - you don't actually enter "technical" - rather it is under "technical" on the home page as a sub-forum))

Beam adjusters front and one spline drop at the back.
Cost about 100 pounds but need mechanical skills and a decent welder.

Rich :)

i have had my bus lowered by a well known company (ryhmes with an 80s song)and was the worst thing i ever done ,after letting a few peeps look at it and drive it they were shocked when i told them who done it and how much ,i will NEVER let anyone work on my bus again and as for the shop that butchered my bus i wouldnt piss on them if they was on fire ,this is a pic of the front beam (ment to be adjustable ????)

please feel free to reply to the bodge done ..........
for what it worth do it your self or get one of the guys on here if you have any liveing near you to do it for you.

Drop spindles up front and a spline at the rear. Don't do anything cheap or your bus will ride like **** and you won't want to use it. If your not that bothered stay stock dude

Calibay, I had mine lowered on adjusters on the front beam and one spline at the rear. This made my driving experience sooooo much better. I think my adjusters at the time were about £100 + lower profile tyres for the front + shocks for the front + labour. Probably the best part of £500ish all in?

Be warned! Lowering is an addiction! I'm now looking at all sorts of possibilities for mine!

Ross.

Dont bother with all that technical stuff, just get yourself a fat partner.
