Question; I'm sure this has been asked
Before! how low can you go without
Changing spindles on your bus?

Geordie

Id say about 2 1/2 inches with adjusters.
After that you will start to put stress on the ball joints.

Rich

P.S Maybe 3 inches

T2D offer up to about 4 inches without changing spindles with there one day service... I was considering this but does this mean it's not advisable due to stress on the ball joints?

Seems like a good, cheap option but I don't want problems I the future :?:

If theyre just rotating the leaves by whatever means then id be saying thats to far.
They maybe using long travel balljoints aswell in wich case that gets over that problem.

T2d don't fit ball joints on the one day lowering, they lowered mine by cut and turning the leaves by about 3-4 inches (never actually measured it) 6 years ago plus adjustable spring plates on rear and never had any issues, same ball joints it had when I bought it, new rubber boots though. I guess they fit them when they see the need for it. Did fit new front shocks while they were there.

That's exactly what I was going for... Think it works out about 800 quid with new shocks, adjusters fitted and lower profile tyres... Might be wrong but sounds good to me

£800?! You can get dropped spindles for that and the ride will be better.

That's tyres, shocks, adjusters and labour... That's to turn the rear spring plates too... I'd obviously prefer dropped spindles and spring plates which I'm sure I could buy for 800, but then I'm sure with shocks, tyres, labour... It would add up pretty quick... I'm gonna talk to my local guys first though and see what they can do

Does it knacker the ride a lot then?

I think you can keep stock shocks if you just have dropped spindles.
