M plate - where is it?

Am I right in thinking its near the battery in the engine bay only i cannot find mine. Thats not to say its not there. I struggle to find my keys every morning when theyre under my nose

If its not been removed then it should be riveted onto the bulkhead behind the passenger seat mate.......

The chassis number is in the engine bay, your M plate will be on the nearside bulkhead with the vin

Ive found it. far too many layers of paint to read it until I remove the seat !

Maybe it was the vin plate then - I could only see one. will I have any trouble registering it in uk if either is missing?

no the chassis number should be in the engine bay the M plate just has a lot more detail re options, colour, trim etc....
