Might be a long shot, but has anyone got one lying around or an off cut that they could measure the thickness for me please?

Couldn't get hold of madmatz today, and I've got the opportunity to borrow transport to buy plywood tomorrow - part of which means getting the right thickness so that floor + tiles fit nicely into the groove in my threshold strip.

They list the thickness of their laminate, but not the tiles.

Hi, im pretty sure they are 2.0mm thick, they cut down industrial tiles to the smaller size they sell from a standard size tile, I would imagine from the manufacturer polyflor of gerfloor or similar, I would google these company's and try and match colour numbers up.
some are available in 2.0,2.5, and 3.0mm though so may be best to check with them to be certain, having said that its only a mm difference at most not much really.

p.s I would much rather use the vinyl sheet over tiles as they will shrink eventually and crap and water gets in the joins.

hope this helps rather than makes it more confusing

regards........kev :)

Legends, thank you. 8)

Although you've now got me wondering whether to just go with a single piece of Lino from them... Half the price and easier to fit I'd imagine...

+1 for the Lino, I went for red and white check from Madmatz, came on a role and I just cut to size with a Stanley knife you just state your length as its width is standard but wide enough for any van floor pan, its about 2.5 mm thick too, so offers some degree of cushioning/sound deadening. I have laid mine over a 6mm ply floor which itself lies on top of a 5mm sound deadening layer.
