Hi people,

I have just 'won' an inlet manifold in fleabay, but forgot to read the small print which states i have to arrange my own courier.
Does anyone know roughly what length and weight it would be so I can get quotes for a courier? It is a 1600 twin port manifold with the casting things on the ends.
Also any recommended firms? It needs to be collected from Stockton-on-tees and get to Essex.
Thanks.

Hi Try Shipley you put on there what you need to ship and people bid to do it for you and they have feedback so you can decide if you are happy with your choice .From memory I would say it would all fit in a box 500mm lonng 200mm high and 200mm wide with packing in it.about 3 KG in weight .

Thanks madjack. I found some comparison website and Hermes came out the best of the mainstream couriers. I guessed it probably weighed about 2.5kg and picked their 2-5kg bracket, and their maximum size in the cheapest price band was 1200mm. Cost me £5.48 to be picked up and delivered - sounds like a great deal to me - lets just hope it turns up
