The master cylinder went on my 1970 US import bus, Egotrippin sold me 1 off his bus but the threads where the steel brake pipes bolt in are quite a bit bigger than the fittings on the steel pipes on my bus and therefore don't fit
Both mine and Ego's buses are 1970 models but was there a component change in that year or something?

I had the same problem!
The aftermarket cilinders don't have brake pressure valves like the originals and these have bigger threads .
Here is a pic of such a valve.

Would have some of these valves or be able to me where i could get some?

From what i know is that these are not new available.
If you pay me the postage i send you them for free!, i could post them tommorow if you want.

Cheers, Harry

what do these valves do?

I have a later system on my van so have the brake proportioning valve - the outlet of that has one of those valves fitted, I can get fluid out of the proportioning valve if I unscrew that bit, but not if I screw it back in.....

could I drill out the centre and use it just as an adapter???

Plus the ruddy bleed nipple snapped off the proportioning valve!!
