I want to do this on mine, i have a collection of Beetle locks in my garage, i'm guessing these are the same, so i'll use parts from them, i want to get guenuine handles first though.

Bring on dub freeze.

Not necessarily, I had a collection of beetle tumblers to use as well & they were slightly different to the bus ones - slightly longer iirc, so I filed them to make "matching" bus ones, the difference in having to carry around one key rather than 6 is amazing :lol:

theres quite a few variations to beetle wafers and generally their thicker too and the springs are larger......

also the beetles have 4 keyways, 0-3 whereas the bus only has 2, 0-2

try this http://www.hallvw.clara.net/lockpart.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
