so how come everything i order from heratage is not in stock or no longer available,it started a year ago i wanted outrigers, not in stock 6 weeks :shock:now no petrol cap.no door pulls,no door winders,no rockers,no sliding door trim, they have lost my carpets that were special order, whats going on ,is this a ford specialist that do vw stuff on the side?and thats why they struggle,I NEED MOT  the time it takes i may aswell import it myself.

any way moan over hope its not raining where you are

I placed an order with them last week, for some 76 oil. The phone call did take ages as the guy verbally pottered about and I wondered how it would turn out ....

2 days later, my oil arrived, well packaged. So, they got a :D from me!

well ive had orders like that clem but at the mo it seems to be terable service ,and what really gets my back up is you pay for next day delivery sit there waiting for the stuff,it dosent come and niether does the phone call to say sorry out of stock ,if you dont ring them you have no idea, and sometimes half of it turns up and you still have to ring to say wheres the rest :x :x ,ive used them for everything in the past but think my loyalty to them is quickley disapearing

I love heratage, but then i've never had a problem :D plus they are really nice guys :D still there are other companies i hate but im sure people love, I won't say any though COUGH BT COUGH...hehe

well ive just got of the phone and if nothing else hapens they have promiced my petrol cap for tomoro,so i can get an mot on it thu hopefully

i ordered some hubcaps off them the other month. after 4 weeks still hadn't recieved them, called and they were out of stock. no mention of that until then. another 3 weeks hubcaps arrived but not the ones i ordered. phoned them again to be told that the ones i wanted were no longer being made (primered steel) so they had sent me some that were not primered at the same price. when i queried this they said that the non primered steel ones were actually more expensive then the primered ones :?: but that they were not going to charge me extra

ive always used cool air and always had a good service.... heritage ive used once and they were pretty good ....

who do you use speedwell?

Most mechanical stuff, brakes, suspension, engine stuff and the like over the counter at my local GSF agent. Anything I can't get from GSF I get from Cool Air as they have free P&P for web orders.

Cool air have just changed the free online postage, its only orders over £100 now.

have a ring around, some of your bits are avalible from GSF

IM trying my best to get parts from GSF but lead times are long and ive been waiting for parts from JK for months on back order.

I think theres a national shortage of VW parts :)

Things go in cycles. When I first came to the UK and was buying VW bits BBToys were undoubtedly THE worst for customer service and delivery etc.

Now Heritage/SSP is clearly at the bottom of the pile. I could write a novel about the cock ups they've visited upon me over the last year-each time basically offering no excuse and saying 'tough ****' .

BBT has bailed me out this year when Heritage has cocked up and so has Coolair, C&C, and KKonnection (known for being pricey but their service is second to none.

Tried to make an order from M7 but they refused to honor the price for a set of wheels that was advertised in a current VW Mag citing a mistake has been made. The wheels have appeared at the same 'wrong' price in 3 subsequent issues of the Mag.

I've ordered more parts from overseas than ever this year. If I could order them all from the States I would. UK VW suppliers in general better get their act together and fast. (IMHO)

Its pretty easy to set up a store with the open source software and a paypal account.

I've set up some businesses with their own stores, some just about knew how to turn their PC on! the problem is logistics and service, but start small.

so my order came today the cap is marked up wrong, usless,b******s   .discription on the label says for 70mm fuel filler ,this cap mesures less than 60mm,there is not an emoticon on here i can put to show how wound up i am.the chap was very usfull and told me the next chance for a cap is in 2 weeks but will probably be wrong again.chance whats this chance thing, im a customer it shouldent be a bloody chance. no mot tomoro
