if its for an MOT that you need a cap you could use a emergancy style one.
bays werent fitted with locking ones as standard so yours wont need a locking cap for the MOT...

What cap are you after, fuel cap? I know my local parts place have loads of 'universal' caps for sale. Not pretty, but could do for now?

Heritage/ssp buggered up two orders for me. I wont use them again. I got them in the end after a number of phone calls and discussions. I was new to this VW thang at the time and didnt know where else to go.

I have since found machine7 & GSF. Both their shops are roughly a 30 min drive away, and i now prefer to visit them and speak to people in person.

thanxs all ive got one from schofields,£20 posted but will be hear for fri hopefully.those push in caps fail the mot aparantly.i use gsf when i can but i find they dont do much for the early buses, thanxs again

Lincoln GSF seem to have their heads screwed on, we use them all the time through work and don't think they have ever cocked anything up. Notts branch is completely different.

Aren't ssp/heritage in the middle of moving premises or something so the orders are getting screwed up a bit? I've never had problems with them before.

Can also vouch for schofields being spot on as we use them a lot through work as well.
