Modyfing orange indicators

When people say they have modified ther orange indicator lenses to make them clear, does it mean theve just taken the orange reflector part off?

yep, and put in an orange bulb.

with a flat bladed screwdriver the orange filter lense should pop off the inside of the main lense with a bit of pressure.
