Hi

I acquired one of them Jincheng Dax-alike monkey bikes a while back
which I thought I might be able to carry inside the bus. This is most likley
far too dangerous without some heavy duty anchors so I thought about one of these..

http://www.monkey-bike.co.uk/Docs/rack.htm

The bike is about 75 Kgs and the rack must be less than 10kgs, so what chances of hanging that lot on the back of a 1970 Danbury...??

Opinions welcome

Cheers

James

it shouldnt be a problem as it appears to fit a dodgy astra. id just want to check your bumper mounts are 100% solid and maybe make a subframe that bolts to the chassis rather than just the bumper mounts.
also if you do fit it have a good old jump on it to test it, dont really want to lose a monkey bike going up the M1!

Thanks chaps

It was the weight that concerned me. If I ever get around to it I'll frabicate somewhat with my pigeon-sh!t welding skills that bolts to the chassis.

Cheers
